Amazon has officially teamed up with NBA icon LeBron James to broaden the reach of his popular podcast, Mind the Game. This multi-year agreement will see the podcast distributed across various Amazon platforms including Prime Video, Amazon Music, Fire TV, Echo devices, and YouTube, thanks to Amazon’s podcast arm, Wondery.

Initially co-hosted by James and former NBA player JJ Redick, the podcast focuses on deep, insightful basketball discussions. With Redick now coaching the Los Angeles Lakers, the second season introduces Steve Nash—two-time NBA MVP and ex-Brooklyn Nets coach—as the new co-host. The new season premiered on April 1, 2025.

“I love talking and learning about basketball,” James said. “Working alongside Steve Nash, one of the game’s sharpest minds, is going to make this even more exciting. We’ll be exploring the finer details of the sport we love.”

This move highlights Amazon’s growing interest in sports media. The company recently secured an 11-year, \$19.8 billion media deal with the NBA—its biggest sports broadcasting investment to date.

The podcast is produced by James’s media company, Uninterrupted, while Wondery oversees its distribution and ad sales. This partnership also aligns with James’s larger media ambitions, following the merger of his SpringHill Company with UK-based production firm Fulwell 73 to boost global content production.

With new distribution channels and a refreshed lineup, Mind the Game is set to captivate basketball fans with unique insights from both player and coach perspectives.
