Rock legends Aerosmith have joined forces with British alt-rock star Yungblud for an unexpected and electrifying new project titled One More Time, a collaborative EP that dropped today across all major streaming platforms. The release marks one of the most surprising cross-generational partnerships in recent rock history, blending Aerosmith’s timeless hard-rock foundation with Yungblud’s high-energy punk-influenced style.

The four-track EP arrives as Aerosmith continue celebrating more than five decades in music, while Yungblud pushes further into global stardom with his bold, genre-bending sound. According to insiders close to the project, the collaboration began forming in early 2025, when Yungblud was invited to join Aerosmith in Los Angeles for an informal writing session. What started as a single song quickly grew into a full EP.

A New Generation Meets Old-School Rock

The title track, “One More Time,” serves as the EP’s centerpiece  a roaring anthem driven by Joe Perry’s signature riffs and Yungblud’s emotionally charged vocals. Steven Tyler and Yungblud share lead duties on the chorus, creating a dynamic call-and-response style that bridges their distinct vocal identities. Early fan reactions on social media praise the song as “unexpectedly perfect” and “a true meeting of musical worlds.”

Two of the EP’s other tracks, “Reckless Hearts” and “Runaway Riot,” lean heavily into the raw, rebellious spirit both artists are known for. Aerosmith provide the gritty rock foundation, while Yungblud injects youthful urgency and modern edge. The final track, “Ghosts in the Stereo,” takes a more reflective turn, blending acoustic elements with haunting harmonies from Tyler and Yungblud. The song is already generating buzz as a potential fan favorite.

Behind the Collaboration

In a joint statement released this morning, Aerosmith said the EP represents “a celebration of rock in all its eras,” highlighting their excitement about working with a younger artist unafraid to push boundaries. Yungblud, who has previously cited Aerosmith as a major influence, described the experience as “a dream and a challenge all at once.”

“Making this EP felt like stepping into history while creating something new,” Yungblud said. “Aerosmith welcomed me like family, and together we made something that feels alive, loud, and honest.”

Producers involved in the sessions said the chemistry between the two acts was immediate, with Tyler and Yungblud reportedly finishing the first chorus for “One More Time” in less than an hour.

Fans and Critics React

Since its release, the EP has sparked enormous conversation across rock communities. Critics note that the partnership highlights a broader trend of legacy bands connecting with younger audiences through creative collaborations. Early reviews praise the EP’s energy, cohesion, and unexpected emotional depth.

Streaming numbers are climbing rapidly, with the title track trending globally within hours of launch.

A Milestone Moment

One More Time stands as a bold experiment  one that successfully fuses Aerosmith’s classic identity with Yungblud’s new-school intensity. Whether this collaboration leads to a full-length album or a tour remains unconfirmed, but both artists have hinted that this is only the beginning.

For now, the EP marks a rare moment where generations collide, proving rock’s ability to evolve, adapt, and reconnect “one more time.”
