German rock-metal band Lord of the Lost have released a new single titled “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?”, featuring Moldovan metal group Infected Rain. The track is part of their upcoming album OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, which will be released on December 12, 2025, through Napalm Records.
A collaboration of unique voices
The song brings together two distinctive vocal styles Chris Harms, the deep and expressive frontman of Lord of the Lost, and Lena Scissorhands, known for her powerful and versatile performance with Infected Rain. The collaboration blends dark melodic tones with heavy metal energy, creating an emotional yet intense sound.
Speaking about the new track, Harms explained:
“It was a creative challenge to write a love song with such a dark title. The song carries a strong and positive message, and working with Lena made the process truly special.”
Lena Scissorhands also shared her excitement:
“I’m really honored to be part of this project. It’s a beautiful and powerful song, and I’m proud of how our voices and emotions came together.”
Musically, the track mixes calm, clean vocals with raw growls and heavy instrumentals, showing both bands’ ability to balance aggression with melody.
About OPVS NOIR Vol. 2
This new release continues the creative concept of OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, focusing on themes of darkness, emotion, and strength. The band describes the new album as a journey through complex feelings, expressed through gothic rock, industrial sounds, and orchestral arrangements.
The album will also include other collaborations, highlighting Lord of the Lost’s openness to experimenting with different artists and genres.
Touring and upcoming plans
Lord of the Lost are currently on tour in the UK and Ireland and will continue performing across North America, Australia, and Europe in 2026. Their “TOUR NOIR 2026” will include 19 countries, with a confirmed concert in Bucharest on March 29, 2026.
The new single is expected to become a highlight of their live shows, combining visual intensity with emotional depth.
A song about strength and devotion
Although the title “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?” sounds dark, both artists emphasize that the message behind the song is about love, loyalty, and facing challenges together. It’s a story of standing side by side, even through life’s most difficult moments.
This collaboration represents the growing connection between European metal artists and the continued blending of styles within the genre. Following Lord of the Lost’s success with Blood & Glitter and their appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, this new project shows their ongoing evolution as a band that values creativity and emotional honesty.
The single and its official music video are now available on all major streaming platforms. Fans can also pre-order OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 through Napalm Records ahead of its December release.
Both Lord of the Lost and Infected Rain continue to prove that metal can be both powerful and deeply human a combination that shines through in this latest collaboration.
