BREAKING: Black Sabbath Frontman Ozzy Sharon L…read more.

Just days after the emotional farewell to legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne in Birmingham, his widow, Sharon Osbourne, has finally broken her silence. In a heartfelt statement and a brief public appearance, Sharon addressed the immense loss of her husband of more than four decades, painting a picture of grief, resilience, and enduring love.

The funeral, held on July 30 at St. Martin’s Church, brought together family, friends, and thousands of fans who gathered to honor the life and legacy of the Black Sabbath frontman. Sharon stood strong beside her children Kelly, Jack, and Aimee  as tributes poured in from across the world. Yet it was in the quiet aftermath, away from the cameras and crowd, that her grief took center stage.

“I Feel Like I’ve Lost Half of Myself”

In a private message shared through her publicist, Sharon Osbourne said:

“Ozzy wasn’t just my husband. He was my soulmate, my partner in chaos and in calm, and the greatest love of my life. I feel like I’ve lost half of myself. He gave me a life I never imagined  a life filled with madness, laughter, heartbreak, music, and love. I will carry him with me forever.”

The couple, who married in 1982, had weathered decades of ups and downs together  from Ozzy’s battles with addiction to his health struggles in later years. But their bond remained unshakable, often described by fans and friends as “fierce and unbreakable.”

A Quiet Moment at His Grave

Following the public funeral, Sharon and her children held a private family gathering at the Osbourne estate. According to sources close to the family, Sharon has been spending long hours alone in the garden where Ozzy requested his ashes be scattered a place he once called “my sanctuary.”

“She sits there for hours,” one family friend revealed. “She talks to him. She tells him everything  what’s happening in the world, what the kids are doing. It’s like she’s still keeping him close.”

A touching photo released on August 1 shows Sharon placing a single black rose at the foot of Ozzy’s memorial, with a simple handwritten note that read: “Always yours. Shaz.”

Plans for a Memorial Concert

Despite her grief, Sharon is reportedly moving forward with plans to organize a tribute concert in honor of Ozzy’s legacy. The event, rumored to be scheduled for later this year in Birmingham, will bring together musicians who shared the stage or had been inspired by the Prince of Darkness, including Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Zakk Wylde, and even artists outside the metal world like Post Malone and Eminem.

“This isn’t just for Ozzy,” Sharon said in a short interview with BBC Radio 2. “It’s for everyone he touched with his music, his madness, and his heart. He always said he owed everything to his fans. Now we owe him a proper send-off.”

Mourning with Dignity

Sharon has chosen to stay mostly out of the spotlight in recent days. She cancelled all upcoming media appearances and has put her business commitments on hold. Her talk show, The Talk UK, is on hiatus, and she is reportedly considering taking an extended break from television.

“She needs time,” a family spokesperson said. “This was the man she loved fiercely for more than 40 years. Grief doesn’t follow a schedule.”

A Widow’s Grace

Despite the heartbreak, Sharon’s resilience is clear. Even in mourning, she has become a symbol of strength to many fans a woman who stood by a rock legend through fire and storm, and now carries his memory with dignity and love.

“She’s heartbroken,” longtime friend and fellow TV personality Piers Morgan said. “But if there’s one thing I know about Sharon, it’s that she’s a warrior. She’ll survive this. And she’ll make sure Ozzy’s legacy shines brighter than ever.”

As the music world continues to mourn the loss of one of its loudest voices, Sharon Osbourne’s quiet strength reminds us that behind every legend, there is often someone just as legendary  standing beside them, holding them up, and, when the time comes, carrying their flame.
