BREAKING:LeBron James’ wife Savannah James breaks her silence Over the Nega…Read more

Savannah James, wife of NBA superstar LeBron James, has candidly opened up about the profound impact of early motherhood on her personal identity. In a recent episode of her podcast, Everybody’s Crazy, co-hosted with April McDaniel, Savannah reflected on becoming a mother at 18 and the challenges that followed.

“With the boys especially, it was really hard for me to find identity outside of being a mom,” she shared. “I felt like that is where my identity was supposed to be, so I just kind of put all the eggs into that basket” .

Now 38, Savannah is a mother to three children: Bronny, 20; Bryce, 18; and Zhuri, 9. She admitted that raising two sons at a young age consumed her focus, often leaving little room for personal growth. “I also had my first child young, I was 18 when I had him, and then I had another baby at 20, and then another at 28,” she said. “But with the boys, especially, it was really hard for me to find an identity outside of motherhood. I felt like that is where my identity was supposed to be, so I just kind of put all the eggs into that basket” .

Savannah’s journey toward self-discovery has been gradual. With her children growing older, she has embraced new roles, including launching her skincare line, Reframe, and stepping into the spotlight with her podcast. She emphasized the importance of self-care and therapy in reclaiming her sense of self, stating, “I really had to start a journey of figuring out who Savannah was, outside of being Bronny and Bryce’s mom” .

Her openness offers a resonant message to many women who grapple with balancing motherhood and personal identity. By sharing her experiences, Savannah James continues to inspire others to prioritize self-growth alongside family commitments.
