BREAKING: NASCAR star reveals Kyle Busch confrontation over…

Josh Berry has shared his side of the story following a wreck involving Kyle Busch at Kansas Speedway last weekend. The incident, which also included Noah Gragson, occurred during Stage 3 while the drivers were battling mid-pack. Busch’s No. 8 Chevrolet was forced into the grass and down the backstretch, ultimately finishing in 21st place. After the race, he reportedly confronted Berry, who managed to finish sixth.

Berry addressed the post-race exchange by explaining his view of the crash, maintaining a calm demeanor. “Kyle said I caused it, but Ross Chastain was on my outside and we were all just getting squeezed,” Berry explained. “I don’t know exactly what happened — it got tight, and we ran out of room. Kyle may have been told he was clear, but we were actually four wide. These things happen.”

Busch shared his own take on the incident during an appearance on Denny Hamlin’s Actions Detrimental podcast. He compared the moment to his crash at Daytona, saying, “I had PTSD… I thought, ‘Oh no, not this again.’” His 21st-place finish at Kansas continues a frustrating winless streak, now at 69 races. Busch criticized the NextGen car for contributing to chaotic racing, blaming its durable composite body for encouraging aggressive driving. “We’re all clowns,” he said. “Everyone just crashes into each other because we know the car can take it and keep going.”
