Collin Chandler, a 6-foot-5 guard from Utah, has confirmed he will return to the Kentucky Wildcats for the 2025–26 season. He announced his decision on social media, using a popular John Wick GIF with the phrase, “Yeah, I’m thinking I’m back,” showing his excitement to rejoin the team.

After completing a two-year Mormon mission, Chandler played his freshman season with Kentucky in 2024–25. While his overall stats—2.7 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game across 30 games—were modest, his impact increased significantly as the season progressed, especially during the NCAA Tournament. Over three tournament games, he boosted his averages to 6.0 points, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 rebounds per game, shooting an impressive 55.6% from the floor and 62.5% from three-point range.

One of Chandler’s top performances came against LSU at Rupp Arena, where he dropped 11 points, including a deep three from near half-court, while adding four rebounds and four assists. His clutch play, particularly when Kentucky dealt with injuries to key players, highlighted his readiness and potential.

Looking ahead to his sophomore year, Chandler is expected to play a bigger role and offer depth at both guard spots. His experience, work ethic, and growing confidence could be key assets as the Wildcats gear up for another strong season.
