BREAKING: Iron Maiden Frontman Blaze Bayley L…read more.

When Blaze Bayley takes the stage later this year to front the Angel of Rage charity concert, it won’t just be another night of heavy metal it’ll be a night where music meets meaning, and the roar of the crowd becomes a rallying cry for change.

The former Iron Maiden frontman, famous for his thunderous voice and raw stage energy, is lending his talent to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK. For Bayley, this isn’t just another date in the tour diary it’s a deeply personal mission.

“Pancreatic cancer is brutal,” Bayley said. “It takes people far too quickly, often before they even realise they’re sick. If we can come together, make some noise, and raise funds for research and support, then we’re doing something that matters.”

Angel of Rage will bring together a fierce line-up of UK rock and metal acts, each ready to play their hearts out for the cause. While Bayley’s set will be the headline moment, organisers are promising surprises guest appearances, special covers, and one-off collaborations that fans won’t see anywhere else.

Mark Ellison, the event’s founder, said Bayley was their dream pick. “Blaze isn’t just a singer he’s a storyteller, a performer who lives every song he sings. He cares, and that’s what makes him perfect for this. We wanted someone who could make the crowd feel every note and every reason we’re here.”

The cause is urgent. Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, with survival rates that haven’t improved much in decades. Often diagnosed late, it leaves little time for treatment. Pancreatic Cancer UK is determined to change that by funding research, pushing for earlier diagnosis, and offering vital support to families. Every ticket sold, every T-shirt bought, and every auction bid on the night will go straight to these efforts.

But the concert isn’t just about raising money it’s about creating a space for people to come together. Fans will have the chance to bid on signed guitars, rare records, and even personalised messages from the performers. Volunteers from Pancreatic Cancer UK will be on hand to share real stories of the people they’ve helped and to connect with anyone who wants to get involved beyond the gig.

For Bayley, saying yes to the event was instant even in the middle of a busy year of touring and recording new music. “Some shows you take for your career, some for your fans,” he said. “This one’s for something bigger. This one’s for the people we can help.”

Even the name Angel of Rage carries a powerful meaning. “The ‘angel’ is the hope and compassion we’re bringing,” Ellison explained, “and the ‘rage’ is the fire in our hearts to see change. We’re angry that so many lives are lost, and we’re turning that anger into action.”

Tickets are already moving fast, with fans eager not just for a night of blistering metal but to stand side-by-side in the fight against a disease that touches so many lives.

When the lights drop and Bayley belts out his first note, it won’t just be music it’ll be a moment of unity. It will be proof that the metal community’s passion can go far beyond the stage, carrying hope into the real world where it’s needed most.
