F1 legend gives Piastri crucial guidance in battle against Norris for championship
As the Formula 1 season heats up, Australian driver Oscar Piastri has found himself in the midst of a high-stakes internal battle with McLaren teammate Lando Norris. With both drivers showing strong performances and Norris emerging as a title contender, F1 legend and former world champion Alain Prost has stepped in to offer Piastri some timely advice.
Speaking during an interview at the recent Grand Prix weekend, Prost acknowledged Piastri’s impressive development in just his second season in Formula 1. “Oscar is incredibly talented and calm under pressure,” said Prost. “But when you’re up against a teammate like Norris, who’s in peak form and chasing a world title, the mental game becomes just as important as speed.”
