BREAKING:Kentucky Wildcats have officially Secure T… «check details»
The Kentucky Wildcats have officially signed two of their four incoming transfers for the upcoming season.
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Alabama transfer forward Mouhamed Dioubate is now officially part of the Wildcats roster. Shortly after, Nakos also confirmed the signing of Tulane transfer guard Kam Williams.
Dioubate, a 215-pound forward, will enter his junior year with two years of eligibility left. Last season at Alabama, he posted averages of 7.2 points per game on an efficient 61.7% shooting clip, including 46.2% from three (on limited attempts). He also contributed 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in just 16 minutes per game.
Williams, a 6-foot-8 guard, spent one season at Tulane where he averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game. Known for his long-range shooting, he hit 41.2% of his three-point shots on 4.6 attempts per game. The rising sophomore has three years of college eligibility remaining, though his NBA potential could see him turn pro before using them all.
With these additions, Kentucky is halfway through finalizing its transfer class as they look to rebuild and reload for the next season.
