Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal, seeking a new opportunity after his stint with the Wildcats. The experienced playmaker, known for his court vision and three-point shooting, is expected to draw significant interest from programs across the country.

Kriisa transferred to Kentucky ahead of the season after a brief stop at West Virginia, where he never played due to NCAA transfer rules. Before that, he spent three seasons at Arizona, where he established himself as a dynamic guard with strong passing and shooting abilities. However, his time at Kentucky saw limited opportunities in a crowded backcourt, prompting his decision to explore other options.

Throughout his college career, Kriisa has been a vocal leader on and off the court, bringing energy and confidence to his teams. His ability to run an offense and stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting makes him a valuable asset for teams in need of an experienced floor general.

With Kriisa entering the portal, several programs are expected to pursue him aggressively. His decision will likely depend on a combination of playing time, system fit, and coaching staff. As one of the more experienced guards available, his recruitment could move quickly in the coming weeks.

Kentucky, meanwhile, will continue to adjust its roster under head coach John Calipari as the team looks to reload for another competitive season. Kriisa’s departure opens up another scholarship spot, potentially paving the way for another incoming transfer or recruit.
