Lewis Hamilton appeared visibly frustrated during the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, sparking speculation about tensions within Ferrari. The seven-time world champion, still adapting to life with his new team, endured a challenging race that left him annoyed both on and off the track.

Hamilton struggled with tire wear and pace throughout the race, finding himself unable to challenge the front-runners. His frustration was evident over the team radio, where he questioned Ferrari’s strategy decisions. At one point, he was heard saying, “Why didn’t we pit earlier?”—a clear sign of his growing impatience.

Reports suggest Hamilton was also unhappy with certain aspects of Ferrari’s car setup, believing it didn’t maximize his performance potential. Despite these struggles, he still managed to finish in the points, though far from where he expected to be.

After the race, Hamilton played down any major issues but admitted it was a tough day. “It wasn’t the easiest race for us. We had some challenges, and I wasn’t happy with how things played out, but we’ll go back and analyze what went wrong,” he said.

Ferrari team boss Frédéric Vasseur defended the team’s decisions, stating, “We tried to make the best calls, but things didn’t go our way. We’ll work together to improve.”

With tensions simmering, all eyes will be on Hamilton and Ferrari to see if they can bounce back stronger in the next race.
