The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has revealed its 2025 Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year, as determined by votes from conference coaches after the NCAA Division II Championships.

Grand Valley State dominated the awards, with its student-athletes securing all four major honors. Scott Spaanstra was named Men’s Track Athlete of the Year, while Lauren Kiley earned the Women’s Track Athlete of the Year title. In the field events, Eli Kosiba received the Men’s Field Athlete of the Year award, and Kaylee Diamond was recognized as the Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.

In addition to the athlete honors, Grand Valley State’s coaching staff also received recognition. Assistant coaches Steve Jones (men’s team) and Alan Peterson (women’s team) were acknowledged for their contributions. Meanwhile, head coach Jerry Baltes and his staff were named GLIAC Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Lakers to victories in both the men’s and women’s conference championships.
