Lewis Hamilton Fires Back at Critics, Says… Read more

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has responded to criticism surrounding his high-profile move to Scuderia Ferrari, stating that negative comments only serve as “fuel” to push him even harder. The British driver, who left Mercedes after a 12-year stint, is gearing up for his first season with the legendary Italian team.

Hamilton’s switch to Ferrari has been met with skepticism from some F1 insiders, including former team owner Eddie Jordan and ex-F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. Critics have questioned whether the move is purely for marketing rather than a strategic step toward winning another title. However, Hamilton remains unbothered, making it clear that he thrives under scrutiny.

“People have doubted me my entire career, and every time, I’ve proven them wrong,” Hamilton stated during pre-season testing in Bahrain. “Their words only add fuel to my fire. I’m here to win, and I’m more motivated than ever.”

Ferrari’s 2025 car, the SF-25, has shown promise in testing, with Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc posting competitive lap times. Many believe Ferrari could be a serious contender for the championship, challenging Red Bull and McLaren for the top spot.

Despite adapting to a new team, Hamilton has expressed confidence in Ferrari’s potential. “The car feels great, and the team’s energy is incredible. This is a fresh start, and I’m embracing every moment of it,” he said.

As the F1 season opener in Bahrain approaches, all eyes will be on Hamilton to see if he can silence the doubters and make history by securing his record-breaking eighth World Championship title with Ferrari.
